BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP, AACPAPPI Pilates InstructorRachael completed BSc Hons Physiotherapy in 2007 and specialised in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy within the NHS for five years. In 2010 whilst leading a back care class at The Whittington Hospital Rachael completed her training with the APPI to become a certified pilates instructor, including pre and post natal pilates repertoire. Since completing the course she has integrated pilates within her physiotherapy treatments alongside other treatment techniques such as mobilisations, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture and strength training. 

Rachael also has post-graduate training in women's health physiotherapy developing a special interest in working with pre and post natal conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and optimising pelvic floor strength and function.

Aside physiotherapy Rachael has a foundation Degree in Dance Performance, allowing her the honour of working as part of the dance medicine team with the English National Ballet to provide exercise rehabilitation and pilates. This role encompasses working with mainly lower limb and spinal injuries, overuse syndromes and post - operative conditions. She supports the dances through rehabilitation and back to performance fitness, whilst also looking at injury prevention programs. Through her lifetime love of movement and dance she is often focused on the quality and precision of movement in her clients and as part of her rehabilitation.

Rachael enjoys keeping herself fit, active and motivated in a variety if ways from adult ballet and contemporary classes to climbing Kilimanjaro.
